Response to SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19)

Adapting the Way We Work

Over the past year, APMG has developed a sophisticated and reliable system for continuing work and meeting deadlines amidst the travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In doing so, we have built on our long-time engagement of and partnership with experts and implementers in the global south, and further enhanced our methods of pairing global public health experts with local public health experts in implementing countries.

Using supportive web-based tools, clear frameworks of responsibility, and technology platforms for remote real-time engagement, we have successfully paired global and host country-national experts to conduct 15 unique country program evaluations and multiple other assessment and technical assistance assignments. This system and our experience implementing ensures our ability to complete projects within required timeframes, regardless of fluctuations in global health security.
