Haley Falkenberry


Haley is a program manager with APMG and is based in New York City. She has worked in HIV in varying capacities since 2012, when she worked in mobile medical clinics outside of Cape Town, South Africa, providing HIV testing and counseling services. While enrolled in a dual Master Social Work and Master of Public Health program at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, Haley worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in the Office of HIV/AIDS where she  provided technical assistance to HIV programs around the state. Haley worked as a graduate research assistant for Boston University School of Public Health on projects in Iringa Region, Tanzania, and on a US-based project developing training curriculum for and piloting peer-educators in HIV programs across the country. She is also a licensed social worker and her clinical experience is in needle exchange programs working with people who inject drugs and female sex workers in Boston, Massachusetts and Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. With APMG, Haley has managed a 65-country assessment of HIV service packages for key populations and worked on assessments in Kosovo and Indonesia.
